IT Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into clear functional and system requirements.
• Analyze existing business processes, system capabilities, and transactional flows to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Create and maintain comprehensive BRD, FRD, User Stories, Use Cases, Process Flow, System Flow, and Data Mapping documentation.
• Work closely with technical teams to define requirements for API, database, system integration, and transactional processes.
• Collaborate with Developers and QA Engineers to ensure requirements are clearly understood and correctly implemented.
• Perform requirement clarification and impact analysis for new features, enhancements, integrations, and system changes.
• Support API and integration analysis, including request/response validation, data mapping, and system dependencies.
• Work with SQL and database tools to perform data validation and requirement analysis when required.
• Support UAT preparation, test scenario validation, defect clarification, and business acceptance.
• Facilitate communication between business and technical stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify potential risks, dependencies, gaps, and impacts and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to address them.
• Ensure delivered solutions remain aligned with business objectives, functional requirements, and project scope.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, Business Analyst, System Analyst, or similar role.
• Proven experience working on Banking, Financial Services, Fintech, Payment, or Transactional System projects.
• Strong understanding of business process analysis, system analysis, and requirement management.
• Experienced in gathering, analyzing, validating, and translating business requirements into functional and technical requirements.
• Strong experience preparing documentation such as BRD, FRD, Functional Specification, User Stories, Use Cases, Business Process Flow, and/or System Flow.
• Good understanding of SDLC and software development methodologies, particularly Agile/Scrum.
• Familiar with RESTful API, API Integration, JSON, and system-to-system integration.
• Good understanding of relational databases and SQL for data validation, analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Familiar with database concepts, including tables, relationships, primary key, foreign key, and data mapping.
• Experience analyzing transaction flows, system integration, and data flows within banking or transactional environments.
• Familiar with API documentation and testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
• Experience working closely with Developers, QA Engineers, Product Owners, Project Managers, and Business Stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify business gaps, system impacts, dependencies, and potential risks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
